IADC Therapy Training (CIAM) June

Brief Therapy Focused on Traumatic Grief
Residential Training, 22–23 June 2026, Geneva, Switzerland

Developed by Dr. Allan Botkin, an American psychotraumatologist, the IADC (Induced After Death Communication) or CIAM (Communication Induite Après la Mort) therapy is a brief therapy focused on traumatic or hard-to-overcome grief. It stands out from other approaches and techniques because it allows for deeper and more lasting results, particularly in cases of overwhelming grief.
This two-day training offers both theoretical and practical learning to help participants become familiar with the technique. An IADC practitioner certificate, certified by Dr. Allan Botkin, is awarded at the end of the training.

Trainers:

Virna Signorelli, psychologist psychotherapist FSP, EMDR, SHyPS, ADC. Certified trainer for IADC Switzerland and French-speaking countries.

Valérie Skrivan, psychologist psychotherapist FSP, EMDR, IADC. Certified assistant trainer for IADC Switzerland and French-speaking countries.

Registration requirements:

Psychotherapists or psychiatrists with at least five years of clinical experience.

An additional 2-hour Zoom session is required for psychotherapists who have not been trained in EMDR.

The number of participants is limited to 12.

Training cost: CHF 450.– (CHF 500.– for non-EMDR practitioners)
